Relational Trauma

We are so much more than the sum of our life expierences.

What is Relational Trauma

Relational trauma, often stemming from experiences of neglect, abuse, or abandonment within interpersonal relationships, can leave deep emotional wounds that impact every aspect of one's life. It's the invisible scars that linger long after the physical wounds have healed, shaping how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us.

How I help

As a trauma informed therapist I recognize that addressing relational trauma requires a compassionate and holistic approach, one that honors the complexity of each individual's journey. Through evidence-based interventions such as trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, or somatic experiencing, clients are guided gently through the process of healing, allowing them to safely explore and process their past experiences. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a sanctuary of safety and support, providing a secure base from which clients can navigate the often turbulent waters of healing. With time, patience, and a deep commitment to self-discovery, you can begin to rewrite the narrative of your life, reclaiming your sense of agency, resilience, and worthiness of love and connection.
