While clients I work with have found success in so many other parts of their lives, often times they come into therapy feeling like they don’t belong, or like theres something missing. Clients might come into therapy with the desire for meaningful and deep connection, but are struggling with unhealthy or harmful patterns in relationships. Often trauma, and systems of oppression have made them feel unlovable or unimportant.

Family and culture is often important to many of my clients. Sometimes it’s also the source of their stress or discomfort. They may hesitate to express their needs or establish boundaries in relationships due to a fear of being abandoned, imposing on others, or facing negative consequences. Occasionally, they might also experience the pain of unresolved conflicts or distance within their family relationships.

I get it, I understand the pain and the grief. You deserve to have love and belonging in your life, always. It would be my privilege and honor to help you navigate the change, and dismantle related shame.

I’m here to answer any and all questions you have about starting therapy. I believe that help seeking behavior is by far one of the greatest forms of self love we can provide ourselves.

Your journey is personal, and so is my approach as a therapist. I am committed to creating a safe and compassionate space where we learn to navigate and address what is keeping your happiness at bay. I work with clients to uncover the root causes of their struggles, helping them build healthier relationships, develop stronger communication skills, and create new pathways that allow for compassionate and understanding approaches.
